We are happy to announce that the Maxwell Institute Graduate School in Analysis and its Applications (MIGSAA) will hold the Summer School in Analysis of PDEs and Fluid Dynamics in the Bayes Centre, Edinburgh, on 23-26 July 2019.
The school will feature 3 short courses (~6 hours), by Gui-Qiang G. Chen (University of Oxford), Mikhail Feldman (University of Wisconsin) and Camilla Nobili (Universität Hamburg), and 4 talks, by Michele Coti Zelati (Imperial College London), Oana-Irina Pocovnicu (Heriot-Watt University), Miles Wheeler (Universität Wien), Ewelina Zatorska (UCL). We will also have time for 4 short selected talks by participants.
The school will be aimed at graduate students and early-stage researchers who are interested in the analysis of equations that arise from fluid dynamics, and we hope to create a positive and stimulating environment for discussions and collaboration among the participants, inspired by the short courses and talks delivered by international experts in their this field. We encourage everyone who is interested to attend, including non-Edinburgh based graduate students and post-docs.
The number of participants is limited due to capacity reasons, so we warmly invite anyone to register their interest to attend on the webpage linked below, by the 10th of May. Applicants from the Maxwell Institute will be automatically registered, whereas the other successful applicants will be notified by email after the 20th of May. After the deadline, registration will be possible depending on availability.
